During Halloween Horror Nights, the streets of Universal Studios Hollywood come alive with hordes of deranged beings. At this gruesome event, you can explore terrifying mazes, zones of monsters and maniacs, experience many of the park’s most exciting rides and attractions, and more.

A cursed box was opened, releasing unimaginable evil. Prepare for a trip through Hell, where Pandora, a demonic temptress serves as your guide.

Enjoy a live action dance performance with mind-bending routines and acts.

Explore crypts home to ghouls and escape furious skeletons.

Spirits roam the streets, taking vengeance on those who attempt to steal their sacred relics.

3. Christmas in Hell
Experience twisted takes on holiday traditions, including the Winter Witch and Jack Frost.

4. Toxxxic Tunnel
Members of a demonic custom car club have taken over, and you won’t make it out of the tunnel far on foot.

5. All Hallow’s Eve
Tonight marks the centuries old Gaelic festival of Samhain, and souls of the dead have risen to celebrate the transition into the “darker” months at the end of the harvest season.

1. The Walking Dead Attraction
Enter the post-apocalyptic world of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and follow in the footsteps of the human survivors as you battle your way through nightmarish iconic landscapes.

Recommended audience: Preteens and older
Overview: The Walking Dead Attraction keeps the spirit of Halloween Horror Nights at the park year-round. Walking Dead fans and those who love haunted house experiences will enjoy this attraction and appreciate its attention to detail and sudden scares.

2. The Simpsons Ride
Enter Hogwarts castle, where you’ll recognize iconic locations. Then, soar above the castle and join Harry Potter and his friends on an unforgettable adventure that puts you face-to-face with an array of magical creatures.

Attraction details: This is a simulator ride.
Height requirement: At least 40 inches (102 cm); guests between 40 inches (102 cm) and 48 inches (122 cm) must have a supervising companion.
Recommended audience: Families
Overview: The Simpsons Ride can best be described as amusing. It’s not intense, but it does simulate some jarring movements.

3. Jurassic World — The Ride
Enjoy a scenic water cruise that gives you the opportunity to encounter historic creatures, including the Mosasaurus. Your adventure gets far more intense, however, when an unforseen event occurs.

Attraction details: This is a water raft ride.
Height requirement: At least 42 inches (107 cm); guests between 42 inches (107 cm) and 48 inches (122 cm) must have a supervising companion.
Recommended audience: Teens and older
Overview: This is thrilling and amazing adventure. You’ll get an up close look at creatures featured in the popular Jurassic World, including the colossal Mosasaurus. Plus, you’ll go for an epic finale drop after an incredible encounter with an Indominus Rex and T-Rex.

3. Revenge of the Mummy — The Ride
Plunge into total darkness and face fireballs, scarab beetles, and an army of warrior mummies.

Attraction details: This is a high-speed roller coaster ride.
Height requirement: At least 48 inches (122 cm)
Recommended audience: Teens
Overview: What’s great about this coaster is that it has enticing sets and provides a thrilling experience. The entire ride takes place in a dark environment and includes effects like fog and fire; it’s a one-of-a-kind roller coaster.

4. Transformers: The Ride-3D
Fight alongside Optimus Prime and the Autobots to protect the Allspark and save Earth.

Attraction details: This is a 3-D motion base ride.
Height requirement: At least 40 inches (102 cm); guests between 40 inches (102 cm) and 48 inches (122 cm) must have a supervising companion.
Recommended audience: Everyone
Overview: This ride brings the Transformers characters to life with larger than life animation. You are completely immersed in the storyline with the use of simulation, practical effects, and more. Universal did a phenomenal job at combining so many different techniques into one ride.
