Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras is an amazing celebration for the entire family. In addition to the park’s awe-inspiring rides and attractions, you can also look forward to delicious Cajun meals, a fun parade, and musical performances. Aside from the live music, the Mardi Gras parade is definitely the highlight of the event. The incredibly detailed floats, theming, music, lights, and colors really make the parade fun to watch, but what’s really great is that you’re joining in on the fun by catching beads by the handful. Universal’s Mardi Gras event is an event you won’t want to miss.

Seating is not provided, and you are prohibited from bringing folding chairs in the park.

6. Do I need to sign up to watch the main concerts?
It is not required for you to sign up to enter the Music Plaza. You are permitted to wait in designated areas for early entry into the plaza, and you may enter the area at any time if space is available.

7. About how early should I arrive to watch a performance in the Music Plaza?
Lines can begin to form as soon as the park opens, especially for popular musical artists. If you wish to receive front row or near the front for a well-known artist and do not mind waiting in tight crowds or skipping the theme park attractions, you should consider waiting as soon as you arrive at the park. If you would like to watch a performance in the Music Plaza area and do not mind where you are located, we recommend waiting about 3-4 hours in advance. If you’d prefer not to wait but wish to see a performance, we advise watching at the benches of Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe.

8. What happens if it rains?
The event itself occurs rain or shine; however, it should be noted that some festivities may be delayed or canceled.
