How we determine the recommended audience:

The recommended audience for each experience is determined based on the intensity level and content. Intense roller coasters, for example, are generally recommended to teens. This is because this age group typically enjoys the thrill factor of such attractions; however, other age groups may like such rides as well. Moderate roller coasters with immense detail, on the other hand, may be recommended to all audiences. Other attractions that we will recommend to all audiences include most simulator rides as they are less intense. We will suggest some attractions and shows for families if it’s an experience we think all members will enjoy together. Experiences for young children are usually designed specifically for those under the age of six (6); whereas, experiences for children, in most cases, are intended for those 12 years of age and under. Each person may prefer different experiences.

1 Disney FASTPASS is Disneyland Resort’s complimentary express line system. The system allows guests to visit a kiosk and receive a return time. At the return time, guests can head back to the attraction using a separate line and experience a significantly shorter wait time. For shows, guests can enjoy specialty viewing locations. Disney FASTPASS selections are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed.
2 Disney MaxPass is a paid service that allows guests to reserve FASTPASS return times via their mobile devices. Reservations for attractions and shows can only be made while on property. Availability may change. Guests using Disney MaxPass utilize the FASTPASS line and experience significantly shorter wait times. Disney MaxPass also allows for unlimited Disney PhotoPass photo downloads from the day, granting access to on-ride images and more. Passes can be purchased at disneyland.com.

NOTE: Attractions and shows are subject to closures; this data may not be displayed on this page. Children under 7 years of age are required to be accompanied by a person meeting the attraction’s required height and the age requirement of at least 14, unless noted otherwise. Disney occassionally rethemes select attractions, altering the ride experience and attraction name; this information is not noted when these updates occur. Select photos on this page are the property of Disney Parks.
