Universal Orlando will close its Volcano Bay water theme park on November 2nd with plans to reopen the park on or before March 1, 2021, according to the resort.

Universal announced the park’s closure as a “seasonal closure to conduct annual maintenance on several attractions and areas of the park”; the resort did not state that the closure is related to impacted attendance levels due to COVID-19.
