Universal Orlando recently filed a permit to demolish the interior of a soundstage located at Universal Studios Florida. The project is titled as Project 727 and is strongly believed to be for Twister… Ride It Out, though nothing has been confirmed. Rumors have suggested for quite a while now that the Twister attraction would be demolished and replaced by a Fast & Furious attraction, however, the rumors have changed over time. Now, rumors suggest Twister…Ride It Out will be replaced by a new attraction based on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Early rumors suggested a Fast & Furious attraction would replace Twister though it is clear that the soundstage is not large enough for an attraction of this kind.
