Last year alone, Universal’s Islands of Adventure welcomed 8.1 million guests. With attendance rates like that you’d probably assume every section of the park is consumed with guests. For the most part, that is true, however, there are some sections throughout the park that are surprisingly quiet. These areas are ideal for you to relax, enjoy a meal, and make some great #UniversalMoments. While these locations are certainly not “hidden,” they seem to be because most guests do not explore these areas of the park.
Here are the top “hidden” areas throughout Universal’s Islands of Adventure:
2. Toon Lagoon waterfront
3. Camp Jurassic
4. Jurassic Park Discovery Center
The Lost Continent’s waterfront is by far the least visited. Journey behind Mythos Restaurant and you’ll witness a one-of-a-kind view. Intake the park’s beauty as practically every “island” is visible from this waterfront. Look at the structure just behind you and you’ll witness a massive statue and structure with awe-inspiring carvings. The Lost Continent’s waterfront is nothing short of amazing! This waterfront is definitely a must see and the perfect location for photographs, resting, and perhaps a quick video shot of your adventures.
