Universal Orlando 1-Day Park-to-Park Touring Plan

Touring plans provide a great way to get the most out of your vacation by highlighting the top rides, attractions, shows, and dining locations.

This touring plan is designed for those visiting both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure within one (1) day from park opening to park closing. This touring plan works for those with and without a Universal Express pass, which allows you to skip the regular lines at participating rides and attractions; however, it assumes that you have not purchased a pass. This plan may require adjustments based on the crowd levels throughout the day, show times, unexpected events, and the park closing time.

Prior to visiting Universal Orlando, we recommend that you download the official Universal Orlando Resort app on the App Store or Google Play Store. The app provides wait times, show times, a resort-wide map, and more.

Tip: This touring plan may be combined with any of our other touring plans to fit your vacation duration or ticket plans.

Visiting Universal Orlando
For the best experience in the theme parks, we suggest starting your day at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and then heading to Universal Studios Florida on board the Hogwarts Express. This will allow you to experience the top attractions in both parks and end your day with Universal’s nighttime spectacular.

Entering Universal’s Islands of Adventure
We recommend getting to the park turnstiles at least 25 minutes prior to park opening, especially on projected busy days. You can view the likely crowd level for the day by using our FREE Universal Orlando crowd calendar. When you have entered the park, you can grab a guide map to help locate the park’s attractions and shows and to view shows times as well as other details. If you download the official Universal Orlando Resort app, this information and more can be accessed on it.
