Every restaurant has been given a price ranking. “$” means the restaurant has more reasonably priced meals, “$$” means the restaurant has moderately priced meals, and “$$$” means the restaurant is more on the expensive side.
Mythos offers a unique dining experience and provides award-winning contemporary cuisines. Its majestic building structure makes it a top photo spot and a top dining location. Mythos Restaurant is located in The Lost Continent, which is a section of Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Finnegan’s Bar and Grill
The moment you walk in you are encased in the atmosphere of an Irish pub. Finnegan’s offers a wide variety of Irish dishes, beer samples, and live music to sing along to. Finnegan’s offers amazing lunch and dinner meals daily. You can find Finnegan’s Bar and Grill in the New York section of Universal Studios Florida, right across from Revenge of the Mummy.
The Leaky Cauldron
The Leaky Cauldron is your one stop for British food. From Bangers and Mash to Cottage Pie, the Leaky Cauldron has it all. Being located in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, the Leaky Cauldron does serve themed beverages, such as Butterbeer. This is definitely a great place to eat in the park because of its authenticity. We rated this restaurant as “$$” because of the small portions of food given for such a price.
Take a trip back in time and enjoy this ’50s themed quick service restaurant, serving burgers, french fries, chicken fingers, shakes, and more. Mel’s Drive-In offers quite delicious meals for a more affordable price. To complete your dining experience, the restaurant is surrounded with retro lights, juke boxes, records, and rockin’ music. Mel’s Drive-In is located in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida, just across from Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show.
Hard Rock Cafe
Enter the world’s largest Hard Rock Cafe and enjoy classic American cuisines, like wings, chicken tenders, ribs, steak, burgers, and so much more while rockin’ out to the greatest music of all time. The Hard Rock Cafe is a must for great tasting full service food, rockin’ music, and rock ‘n’ roll history. You can find the Hard Rock Cafe at Universal CityWalk, not far from the entrance to Universal Studios Florida.
The Cowfish opened just last year and takes on a very interesting task; to combine two completely different types of cuisines and put them into one restaurant. The Cowfish serves both sushi and burgers and consists of a bar as well. The atmosphere is very unique, offering very modern and abstract shapes and imagery, providing an entirely new experience. All food is served fresh and delicious, never frozen. The Cowfish can be found at Universal CityWalk.
Keep in mind that most of the restaurants on this list and others around the resort accept annual passholder discounts and AAA discounts. Be sure to show your annual pass or AAA membership card to see if the restaurant you are dining at offers any discounts. Also, if you are visiting for the day, Universal’s Dining Plan is a great idea for a family to budget their day.
