According to documents filed by Universal Orlando last week, the resort is progressing on plans for a new on-site hotel consisting of about 600 rooms just southwest of the new Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.

The hotel, which is expected to include “Aventura” in its name, will sit on 6 acres of land — making it likely to be a tower. Documents state the hotel’s parking garage will be connected to Loews Sapphire Falls Resort’s using a walkway. With the name “aventura” being of Spanish origin (the word translates to “adventure”), it is expected that the hotel will feature Spanish architectural influences.
